Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is set to participate in an armchair discussion on artificial intelligence in France on Friday as the Francophone summit gets underway.
Trudeau is scheduled to speak about artificial intelligence on Friday morning, while leaders will hold a session on the challenges facing French-speaking citizens in the digital age in the afternoon.
As the host of this year’s meeting between French-speaking countries, French President Emmanuel Macron will welcome the leaders to Villers-Côtiers and later host a state dinner.

Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie said that she will hold a conversation with the Lebanese Minister of Information during the summit and will meet with her French counterpart today to discuss how to bring peace and stability to the Middle East.
