Global News has obtained a video of RCMP to immigrants who illegally enter Canada from the United States, where Ottawa intensifies border security amid increasing pressure from the new Trump administration.
The joint aerial video was moved with Global News on Wednesday from a surveillance plane where Mounties stopped migrants near the Emerson Border crossing in Manitoba last month.
The video shows the thermal photography of six people who were arrested illegally crossing the border on January 14. People were from Chad, Jordan, Sudan and Mauritania.

This comes at a time when RCMP rented two planes from a Black Hawk helicopter and uses drones to take patrols in parts of Canada and the United States in an attempt to enhance border security and US President Donald Trump requested.
