She said that the Palestinians have the right to self -determination, and they argued that the best future for the Middle East is a solution from the two countries, where a Palestinian state lives in peace alongside Israel.
“We do not believe in the forced displacement of people and we believe that everything we do should be in accordance with international law,” Jolie told Halifax on Friday.
She said that the two -state solution will allow the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to normalize relations with Israel and create more stability in the Middle East.
Jolie added that the countries should focus on “the maximum pressure against Iran” to stop working with Russia and China to cultivate instability in the region.
