Drivers along the Nevada Interstate Highway from Las Vegas to Reno this weekend were greeted by an unexpected sight: a 13-meter-tall naked statue of former US President Donald Trump.
The 6,000-pound statue, which was lifted upright by a crane in an industrial park, sparked resentment among state Republicans, who called it “unfortunate.”

According to the Nevada Republican Party, the statue is nothing short of inappropriate. The organization said it “strongly condemns” the statue because families driving through Las Vegas “are forced to view this offensive doll, intentionally designed for shock value rather than meaningful dialogue.”
“President Trump and Republicans are focused on achieving the results that matter — lowering inflation, securing our borders, creating jobs, and ensuring a brighter future for all Americans,” the party said in a statement. statement. “While Democrats, especially Kamala Harris, continue to prioritize shock value over substance, President Trump is the only candidate in this race who stands up for working men and women across the state of Nevada.”

Clark County officials said the statue was erected on private property without a permit.
“Upon learning of its presence, Commissioner Kirkpatrick contacted the property and requested its removal,” the statement released Tuesday said. “It was taken down shortly after.”
The artists said the statue is expected to be transported to other US cities as part of a national tour. The artists told Las Vegas television station KTNV-TV that they plan to display a naked Trump statue in it Every US state is a swing state.
Other dates and locations for the statue’s display have not been announced.
