German police said that the driver drove a car to a union demonstration in central Munich on Thursday, injuring at least 28 people, including children. Officials said he believed it was an attack.
Participants were participating in a demonstration related to a blow organized by Verdi, the main labor union of the public sector in Germany. Police said the demonstrators were walking along a street at about 10:30 am when the car, a mini -cuper, surpassed a police vehicle in the wake of the assembly and acceleration, and the driver pulled at the back of the group.

Joachim Hermann Minister of Interior in the state of Bavaria said that the suspect was known to the authorities regarding theft and drug crimes, but he did not give more details.
