Air Canada says it will resume flights to Israel in June, a year and a half after flights stopped to the region in the Israeli war-on.
With a fragile truce in place, the country’s largest airline said in a travel update that four round -back flights per week from Toronto to Tel Aviv will start on June 8.
Another return trip is scheduled to start a week from Montreal in August.

Air Canada says it has conducted “wide -safety and security reviews”, including talks with government authorities and other airlines belonging to the Israeli airspace.

Two American Shaqtan plans to revive the service to the region, where UNICED Airlines was set to Tel Aviv on March 15 and Delta Air Lines on April 1.
Air Canada stopped its flights to Israel after the outbreak of the war between Israel and Hamas in October 2023, and briefly resumed them last April before stopping it again after an attack by Iran.
