David Eibi, British Prime Minister of Colombia, says he hopes to help a trip to Washington, DC, to persuade American decision -makers to back down from the edge of definitions.
But he said regardless of the results of the task he pledged with the other Canadian Prime Minister, the relationship between the two countries has changed permanently.
“Regardless of what the president does, we will never return to the way we were before, as Canadians, we rely on the decisions of one person in the White House,” Ebi told the media before riding a plane in Vancouver the international airport on Monday evening.

US President Donald Trump threatened to impose a 25 percent tariff on all Canadian goods. A threat to impose definitions on February 1 was delayed by 30 days after the last minute agreement with the Canadian government.

He said: “These definitions, even the customs tariff that was announced today will bring costs to many things for the Americans, and everything from cars to the planes, and it is not necessary to be in this way.”

He added that he expected the federal government to respond with its own sanctions, to show the United States that Canada will not “roll.”
He added that the conflict has attracted more federal interest in addressing international organizational crime on the border, but it is believed that the customs tariff has a greater relationship with politics and increased American revenues more than any legitimate border issues.
Meanwhile, EBY said that the boycott is still focusing on diversifying the markets of BC products, internationally and inside Canada by reducing commercial barriers between provinces.
He also described government efforts to track the main projects quickly and reduce time to allow.
He said: “It is much easier to trade with the United States for many of our companies, and challenge them to them to build markets elsewhere.”

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that Canada will be discussed if necessary for Trump’s duties with its definitions on $ 155 billion of American commodities, including alcohol, furniture and natural resources.
