The Associated Press filed a lawsuit against three Trump administration officials on Friday for reaching the presidential events, noting freedom of expression in a federal judge’s claim to stop the ban on journalists.
On Friday afternoon, the lawsuit was filed at the US District Court in Washington, DC, 10 days after the White House began restricting the arrival of the news agency.
The Associated Press says that its case revolves around an unconstitutional effort by the White House to control speech – in this case his style from Mexico’s Gulf does not change to “The Gulf of America”, as President Donald Trump did last month with executive order.
“The press and all the people in the United States have the right to choose their own words and not to take revenge on the government,” said AP in a lawsuit, which was called the pillars of the White House Susan Wales, Deputy Chief of Staff Taylor Boudwich and journalist Caroline Levitte.
The news agency said: “This targeted attack on the independence of the liberation in AP and its ability to collect and report news strikes at the heart of the first amendment,” the news agency said. “This court should be treated immediately.”

Trump said on Tuesday: “We will remove them until they agree that it is the Gulf of America,” Trump said on Tuesday.
This week, about 40 news organizations signed a message organized by the White House Representatives Association, and urged the White House unlike its policy against AP.
While AP journalists are still allowed on the White House, they were removed from the “group” of journalists who cover events in the smaller areas and return to other readers and correspondents. AP was part of the white swimming pool for more than a century.
The lawsuit said that AP made “several unsuccessful efforts” to persuade the administration that its behavior was illegal.

The Ap Stylebook is a sticky point
In an email to AP, Wales said that the news institution was targeted because his influential book was used as a standard by many journalists, researchers and students throughout the country. In a radio interview with Fox News Brian Kilide on Friday, Trump referred to the Associated Press as “the extreme left crazy.” He said, “The Associated Press is a third -class group bearing a first -class name.”
He said, “Just for everyone,” before changing the name of the Gulf of America, but “AP wants to be nice.”
There was a mixed response from other news organizations: The New York Times and the Washington Post continue to use the Gulf of Mexico, while Fox News turned into Trump. Google Gulf of America is used for users in the United States.
