American Senator Mitch McConnell says he will not run for his re -election next year, indicating the end of one of the most Republican political professions in modern history.
Senate member Kentucky announced a long time in a speech from the Senate Hall on Thursday, which was also his eighty birthday.

McConnell said he intends to serve the rest of his term in January 2027.
“For my disappointment, I am still here in the job,” he said.

McConnell’s wife, Eileen Zhao, worked as Minister of Transport during the first period of Trump. He referred to his wife as his “final teammate and Cointainte” in his speech on Thursday.
In Kentucky, the departure of McConnell will cause a strong defender’s loss and will start in the introductory elections of the Republican Competitive Party next year for what will now be an open seat in the Senate.
