On Wednesday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mélanie Joly returned to Washington, DC, to meet US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, where Canada faces a threat to destroyed definitions early on Saturday.
Jolly said on Monday that she still believes that diplomacy can prepare for President Donald Trump’s plan to slap Canada with 25 percent duties.
Jolly spoke with Rubio on the phone last week and described the new foreign minister as “good axes.”
This will be Jolly’s fifth visit to the United States since last November.
Jolie met with many American legislators to talk about how to destroy duties in the economies of both countries, and to exchange information about the $ 1.3 billion border plan, which was implemented in response to Trump’s identification threats.
Ottawa has prepared multiple options for revenge definitions, depending on what Trump in the end.
