Seven foreigners in Fiji ended up in hospital after drinking a pina colada at a resort bar and feeling ill over the weekend, authorities confirmed on Monday.

The cocktails were served at the five-star Warwick Resort on Saturday, according to local news reports. It is unclear whether the rum-containing drinks were served with contaminated alcohol, and the cause of the illness is not yet known.
